Specially formulated for use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Zoysiagrass, Centipedegrass, and Carpetgrass. Apply Scotts WeedEx Southern lawn weed killer with a Scotts broadcast, rotary or drop spreader when weeds are actively growing, and water in immediately after application. Scotts WeedEx Southern starts working on contact to kill weeds, including dollarweed, clover, dandelion, chickweed, purslane and oxalis (see label for other listed weeds). Use Scotts WeedEx Southern to put a stop to weeds in your lawn.

How to use
Apply Scotts® WeedEx™ Southern with a Scotts® broadcast, rotary, or drop spreader for effective weed control on St. Augustine grass and other southern lawns.

Fill the spreader with this southern weed control product.
Walk at a steady pace and align the spreader arrow with the previous wheel track.
Scotts® Broadcast/Rotary Spreader
Fill the spreader to control southern weeds.
Walking at a steady pace, line up each pass so it is approximately 5' from the previous wheel track.
Where to use
Use on St. Augustine grass (including Floratam), Centipede grass, Carpet grass, Zoysia grass.
Note: If Centipede grass or Carpet grass lawns have been newly seeded, do not apply this product until the new grass has been mowed at least twice.
Where not to use
Do not apply to lawns or mixed lawns of Bahia grass, Bermuda grass, Bluegrass, Fine Fescue, Bentgrass, Ryegrass, Tall Fescue, or Dichondra.
Do not use on or under trees, shrubs, bedding plants, flowers, or garden plants.
When to apply
Wait until after the third mowing of the season to apply.
Apply when grass and weeds are actively growing.
Only apply during calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours to help ensure that the wind and water do not wash the product off of the treated area.
Do not apply during the winter dormancy period.
How often to apply
If complete control is not obtained, a second treatment may be required 2 months after the first.
Do not apply more than twice a year.

To protect the environment, do not allow this product to enter or run off into storm drains, drainage ditches, gutters, or surface water.
Apply during calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours to help ensure that the wind and water do not wash the product off of the treated area.
Sweep any product that lands on a driveway, sidewalk, or street back into the treated portion of the lawn to prevent runoff into water bodies. Runoff and drift from treated areas may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in neighboring areas.
Do not clean equipment over hard surfaces or near drains.
