Beetles make up 40 percent of all insects. They are easy to recognize by their tough, leathery wing covers, which meet in the middle of the back and form a straight line down the insect''s body. While most beetles prefer to stay outside near their food sources and breeding grounds, they occasionally try to come indoors.
To keep them out of the house, seal openings around doors and windows, inspect and repair screens. Clean up any debris outdoors that may harbor these pests.
