Pale green to yellow spots appear on the outer, older leaves. In humid weather, a fuzzy purple growth may cover these spots. The entire leaf eventually turns yellow, falls over, and dies. Young leaves may be twisted and distorted. The bulb is soft and small.

Solution Advice

Water by using drip irrigation. Clean up and destroy plant debris after harvest. Apply a fungicide labeled for this disease, following label instructions.
