Insects resembling common honeybees are very aggressive and may sting for no reason. They tend to attack in swarms.
Avoid squeezing them, as this will force venom into the wound. Apply a cold compress or ice pack to the swollen area. If a severe reaction develops, go to a doctor or the hospital immediately. Removing the hive should be done by a beekeeper or licensed pest control operator.
