How to Use

Building Your Own Potting Mix

• Blend 1 to 2 parts of Miracle-Gro® Sphagnum Peat Moss to a 3 to 4 parts pre-mixed potting mix.
• For acid loving plants add equal parts Miracle-Gro® Sphagnum Peat Moss and pre-mixed potting mix.

Blending Your Own Seed Starting Mix

• Blend 9 parts Miracle-Gro® Sphagnum Peat Moss to 1 Part Miracle-Gro® Perlite.

Blending Your Own General Purpose Mix

• Blend 3 parts of Miracle-Gro® Sphagnum Peat Moss to 1 part Miracle-Gro® Perlite

For Lower, More Acidic pH

• For less acidic soil add 1/3 of finely ground Dolomitic Limestone per cubic foot to all mixes after blending.
• For acid loving plants, add only 1/7 lb of Dolomitic Limestone per cubic foot.

When to Apply

Use to lighten heavy potting and seeding mixes.
