Some places around your home are ideal for Ortho® GroundClear®, while some places are not. This article will help you learn more about where to use this product.
Hardscape areas are ideal places to use GroundClear® to kill and prevent weeds. Examples of typical hardscape areas include patios, concrete or paver driveways, and along sidewalk curbs.
Unplanted areas where no vegetation growth is desired are also places in which GroundClear® can be applied to prevent weed or grass growth. Examples of typical unplanted areas include rock landscapes, rock yards, gravel driveways, dirt paths, along fence lines, and around or under decks.
Don't use GroundClear® on lawns, as GroundClear® is a vegetation-killer. For lawns, we recommend Ortho® Weed-B-Gon MAX®.
Don't use GroundClear® in or near gardens, as GroundClear® is a vegetation-killer. For killing grasses around ornamental plants, we recommend Ortho® Grass-B-Gon®.
Don't use GroundClear® in mulched areas with desirable flowers or shrubs, as GroundClear® is a vegetation-killer. For these areas, we recommend Ortho® Season-Long MAX™.
Don't use GroundClear® within 2X the drip-line of trees. For these areas, we recommend using Ortho® Season-Long MAX™.
Don't use GroundClear® on slopes or hills as plants or trees downslope may be affected. For weeds in these areas, we recommend using Ortho® Season-Long MAX™.
