    Winter is approaching and your Bermuda lawn is going dormant. That means it's time to put in your winter lawn. Are you looking forward to getting up close and personal to large bags of manure? No? Then you'll be pleased to know that there's now an easier way to overseed your yard this winter -- without the nasty smell and the flies that it attracts. This year, try overseeding with new Scotts® EZ Seed® Ultimate Winter Lawn Mix.


    What's the Same and What's Different

    When you use new EZ Seed® Ultimate Winter Lawn Mix, you still have to prep your lawn the way you're used to. So there's no escaping the mowing and raking you do normally. However, once that's done, all you have to do is apply your EZ Seed® Ultimate Winter Lawn Mix and water. That's it. No manure. No flies. No unpleasantness.


    A Note on Watering

    Watering correctly makes all the difference with EZ Seed® Ultimate Winter Lawn Mix. After you spread it, you need to water it for about 15 minutes. This will saturate the EZ Seed® and wet the soil underneath it. When EZ Seed® is moist, it turns dark brown, and it turns light brown as it dries out. So you know when to water. As a rule of thumb, that's about 3-4 times a day after you apply it.
