I have a new home and the developer mentioned hydroseeding my lawn. What does this mean?
Hydroseeding is a planting method that involves spraying a mixture of water, grass seed, and paper pulp over an area using specialized power equipment. This method has the advantage of seeding a large area quickly, as well as applying a weed-free biodegradable paper pulp to help keep the seeds moist between waterings. You can sometimes rent hydroseeding equipment yourself, or you can hire a landscaper to do this for you using the Scotts® seed of your choice. To seed areas less than 3 feet wide, Scotts® Patchmaster® seed products feature the benefits of hydroseeding without the need for expensive equipment!
