The product contains 5% iron, a micronutrient that enhances the greening process for fast results. Plus, it is guaranteed not to stain concrete, driveways, or other surfaces surrounding your lawn (when used as directed). Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food can be applied to any grass type in the spring, summer, or fall. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary, use a setting of 3 ¾ for the recommended rate or 3 ¼ for the regular rate. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 7 ½ for the recommended rate or 7 for the regular rate. For fast results, lightly water in.
